Stepping Into Success (SIS) is a peer support program designed to empower Ocean County residents ages 18 and older, who are living with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD).
SIS provides individualized, strength-based support focused on skill-building, wellness, vocational growth, and transitional education to help participants achieve greater independence and personal success. Through peer mentoring, group support, and non-clinical case management, Stepping into Success fosters an inclusive and supportive environment where individuals can develop essential life skills, explore career pathways, and enhance their overall well-being.
SIS is staffed by compassionate and knowledgeable peers, individuals with lived experience, who provide guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies to help individuals achieve personal and vocational goals. By focusing on strengths, self-determination, and skill-building, SIS helps participants gain confidence, independence, and the tools they need to achieve their goals.
