Workforce Development

Work is an integral part of recovery from mental illness. With an 80% unemployment rate among mental health consumers, workforce development is vital. Employment helps create economic independence, encourages wellness and recovery, and fights stigma in the workplace.

Workforce Development includes programs and services targeted to consumers seeking work within the general workplace, and those working within the mental health system. It also targets mental health professionals helping consumers move toward employment.
