NJ Disaster Mental Health Helpline

NJ Disaster Mental Health Helpline provides public access to targeted mental health services in case of natural or man-made disaster or terrorist attack. The helpline is equipped to quickly develop resources to better assist New Jersey’s affected populations.

The New Jersey Disaster Mental Health Helpline, has been activated as part of the state’s response to Superstorm Sandy. It is one of the key public access points to the New Jersey Hope and Healing project which provides emotional support to Sandy survivors in New Jersey’s disaster-declared counties.

Call 877-294-HELP (4357), TTY 877-294-4356 for assistance. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
